Brazilian Influencer Kauana Bilhar Dies After Fall From Dubai High-Rise

Brazilian influencer Kauana Bilhar has died at 26 after falling from the 27th floor of a residential building in Dubai on Tuesday, July 7. She had lived in the UAE for two years.
Dubai authorities are investigating, and no official cause has been determined. Her mother has since asked the public to stop speculating about how her daughter died.
Bilhar’s uncle told Brazilian outlet G1 that she fell from the balcony of her apartment, according to AOL’s report on the case. Her mother, Darla Bilhar, has travelled to Dubai to follow the investigation and arrange to bring her daughter’s body home. Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed it’s supporting the family through the Brazilian Embassy in Abu Dhabi. Beyond that, authorities haven’t released further details, and the exact circumstances of the fall remain under investigation.

Her mother’s appeal
Days after the death, Darla posted a video on Instagram asking people to stop attacking her daughter’s memory. She said she felt compelled to speak because Bilhar “could no longer defend herself from the rumours and criticism circulating online.”
“I have to watch my daughter’s memory being judged, exposed and disrespected by people who never knew her story,” she said. “My daughter deserves respect. Those who truly knew her understand the kind of person she was, her dreams and her humanity.”
She also asked journalists and social media users to handle the case with dignity rather than speculation, a request this article is honouring by sticking to what’s confirmed.

Her last post
Bilhar had built a following of more than 20,000 on Instagram, mostly documenting her life in Dubai. Her final post, from June 25, was about adopting a cat after previously being scammed while trying to get one. She wrote that the cat had “brought even more happiness into her life.”
