Nambwa FM a movie that airs on Startimes has bagged five nominations in this years Kalasha International Film and Television awards.

It is a movie based on real life experiences from girls in Kenya.

The story was produced through a co-creation process involving girls and young women (as the primary co-creators), community members, leaders and key representatives from the government, civil society and private sector, under the Girls Advocacy Alliance (GAA) program. Through a youth-led advocacy campaign, the program has empowered and supported girl advocates in Kwale County to access platforms to share their narratives and perspectives, through the production of the film.
