An argument between a KDF man and his wife in Kahawa Wendani turned tragic after the man died after a scuffle.

The 37 year old officer succumbed after his wife bit his thump, shoulder and chest.

The genesis of their argument according to sources privy to the matter is a house the woman allegedly rented as a studio since she’s an upcoming secular musician.

Neighbors who were interviewed said that there was a commotion in the house after which the deceased’s sister came out shouting for help.

This apparently after the woman, on realizing that her husband was convulsing after the attack decided to seek for the services of a local health center.

The woman has been arrested as the body of the slain KDF officer awaits autopsy.

Cases of gender based violence have been on the rise this past months.

Late last month, Police officers in Isiolo county arrested the key suspect in the murder of Celestine Nduku, a 26-year-old woman who was found dead in her house at Kambi ya Juu area last Sunday.

Eric Mutwiri Mwenda, who went into hiding after the incident, was arrested in Nanyuki where he was living with his cousin Earnest Kiburi, who was also taken into custody.
