Raila back to hospital for routine check up

In what his aides termed as a routine medical check up, ODM boss Raila Odinga yesterday returned to Nairobi hospital.

This comes weeks after he was discharged from the hospital.

Sources privy to his visit to the hospital indicate that the former prime minister was at the hospital to get professional opinion regarding his fitness level.

A source that didn’t wish to be named stated that he is not sick, but had just gone for a normal check-up.

Raila tested positive for Covid 19 after tests conducted at the same hospital.

This was after a series of nationwide rallies to drum support for the Building Bridges Initiative bill that’s now before parliament.

The ODM boss has maintained a low profile ever since he left Nairobi hospital.

The last time he was seen in ‘public’ was when he shared a video showing him undertaking light physical exercises at his Karen home as his last born daughter Winnie Odinga cheered on.
