Margaret Kerubo- ‘Nyachae and I had two sons’

65-year-old Margaret Kerubo came out on Tuesday claiming that former Gusii kingpin Simeon Nyachae was the father of her two sons.

The late Nyachae was buried on Tuesday at a private ceremony attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Kerubo claimed that she met the late Nyachae while she was working as a public servant at Jogoo House In Nairobi.

According to her their union produced two sons namely, Rodney Chweya Nyachae 46 and Brian 30.

She also said that her firstborn son stays in the United States but flew into the country immediately after he was told about the death of Nyachae.

She was speaking in Kisii County also claimed that they were kicked out of the Gusii Stadium where the burial ceremony of the former powerful minister was being held.

During the funeral service that took place at Gusii stadium, President Uhuru Kenyatta renamed the stadium to Simeon Nyachae stadium.

“We will give an additional Sh150m to the county to complete the stadium and to ensure that this stadium is completed by the end of this year and to an international standard,” Uhuru said.

Uhuru said that Nyachae was a disciplinarian, not only in disciplining others, but the discipline with which he carried himself.

“What he expected of others, is what he expected from himself. What he told us to do, is what he himself did,” he said.

Noting that he knew Nyachae since he was young, Uhuru said Nyachae held his hands to who he was.
