Jubilee party vice chairperson David Murathe has hinted that DP William Ruto and other members in the party who support him could soon lose their positions.

“Those leaders pushing for the UDA agenda including the DP will soon lose their seats. Things are cooking, just wait and see.

“They cannot claim to be our party members yet they field candidates against ours. Maybe it’s time to review the coalition agreement,” Murathe told Nation yesterday.

This follows a meeting by the party’s National Management Committee.

The seven-hour meeting held on Thursday, January 21 at Jubilee party headquarters discussed a number of issues affecting the party.

Sources privy to the meeting indicates that the committee agreed that the party would initiate disciplinary action against Deputy President William Ruto and his allies for their involvement with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

The meeting further resolved to to kick out Nominated MPs affiliated with the DP.

Those on the chopping board include Isaac Mwaura, Cecily Mbarire, Naomi Waqo, Millicent Omanga, Mary Senata and David Sankok were on the radar of the party.

Mwaura defected to Ruto’s camp in December 2020.

Team hustler spokesman Dennis Itumbi via a tweet alleged that the party also wants to end its affiliation with UDA and also instigate the process of kicking out 150 MPs associated with Ruto from Parliament.
