The country’s force has been severally accused of being brutal to the citizens, more so on NUP Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine.

A pop star-turned-politician, Bobi is seen by many as the new face of Uganda’s politics and viewed as a major threat to Museveni who has been in power since 1986..

Kyagulanyi who joined politics five years ago after being elected in a by-election in Kyadondo East constituency, has tremendously grown his support base across the landlocked East African nation.

His rise hasn’t been easy as his meetings have been marred by excessive brutality from the police wing.

Bobi has today taken to Twitter to display fears of planned rigging by Museveni’s regime after some internet services were disrupted.
