Accident most foul at River Ndarugo, don’t drink and drive (watch)

The festive season is here with us and it normally comes with all the hype after a long hectic year, 2020 has been one the whole world will leave to tell.

With the hype comes much recklessness that has for years costed several lives.

People drinking and driving oblivious of the danger they pose themselves to.

Between 3000 and 13 000 Kenyans lose their lives in road traffic crashes every year.

The majority of these people are vulnerable road users – pedestrians, motorcyclists, and cyclists.

In addition, nearly one-third of deaths are among passengers  many of whom are killed in unsafe forms of public transportation.

Drunk driving is the major cause of accidents during this festive season.
