Nyali MP Mohammed Ali accuses Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho of punching him at Msambweni

Former journalist and current Nyali MP Mohammed Ali has accused Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho of assault.

Under OB number 07/15/12/2020 number the Member pf Parliament reported the incident at Diani Police Station

The Nyali MP in a statement said he was walking toward the polling center at Jomo Kenyatta primary school in Msambweni constituency, and the Governor Joho walked in with around 50 youths after which he punched Mohammed Ali and he fell down on his knees.

The MP continues that he hurriedly took off into his car and was followed by the youth led by governor Joho and they smashed the back seat window and right hand side mirror all in an effort to attack him him.

He managed to take off and could not report the matter to Mombasa Police Station because the group of the youths were chasing him.

In a further statement Mohammed Ali added that earlier before the above incident, The younger brother to Mombasa governor, Said Abdalla had attacked him at the police station but his security and police intervened.
