Controversial blogger Cyprian Nyakundi and Nairobi city county senator Johnson Sakaja have this morning gone bare knuckles online over the senator’s alleged involvement in KEMSA PPE scandal.

The lawmaker’s name was mentioned by suspended Procurement director of KEMSA Charles Juma as having been a beneficiary of the scandal.

Juma was appearing before the Public Investments Committee on Tuesday where he was grilled over the scandal.

According to him, the senator was at CEO Jonah Manjari’s office when he allegedly pressured his secretary (Juma’s) to draft a commitment letter for Shop N Buy.

Shop N Buy is among the many companies being investigated in the scandal.

It all started when the blogger posted that part of the money bought by Sakaja was used to buy 4 high end vehicles.

Nyakundi wondered why the Asset Recovery Agency couldn’t ask Sakaja where he got the money from threatening to unleash the number plates of the vehicles.
